The Season is on full swing. I managed to qualify for 2 nd run in World Cup so far 2 times but the second runs were not really what i expected. My shape is ok and i think i am not far away from the top. Different split times are showing me that i can still compete on the highest level which is very positive for me. I am also very positive for the upcoming races in Austria . Kitzbühel and Schladming have always been great places for me with great results. I am really looking forward to these events and i am sure that i will do well there. later kilian

Seasonstart Reiteralm
The season has started with the first Slalom at Reiteralm. Despite 2 big mistakes on the first 20 seconds i was able to ski a great finish with the 4 th best split time into the finish to be placed on position 24 to qualify for the second run. In the second run i went out but at the end i am happy with my performance and really content to see that i can still compete with the best guys out there. This first run and especially the 4 th best split time gives me a lot of confidence for the next World cup Slalom in Bad Kleinkircheim on the 9th of December. Before that i will be flying to Sofia for some PR and than to the Usa for the Noram Series.
Keep the fingers crossed for me

Training in New Zealand 27 th of august 2007
HI
Best wishes from New Zealand to all of you. I am having an outstanding camp here training with the Hart ski team sometimes with the us team one day with the Queenstown Ski Team and now going to Treble Cone to train with the TC race academy for 2 days. Than another 2 races before I will leave New Zealand. We already had FIS races at Coronet Peak where I won the first race and was 3 rd in the second race behind Olympic champion Ted Ligety and the 7th of the Slalom from the Torino Games Yuasa Naoki from Japan which is also my hart ski teammate. We have been testing a lot of different equipment and set ups on the injected slalom hill and it was quite difficult because sometimes it was pure ice. But I think we got a lot of information on the equipment. The Hills here are quite challenging and the snow just great because it was cold most of the time. Just at the beginning we had 3 days of rain but after they have blown snow ( with more than 100 guns) it just became the best camp I have ever had in the southern hemisphere. So I hope to figure out all the stuff I have learned and found out here in my next camps in Europe where I will most likely be in Pitztal or Saas fee and work with my coach Dietmar Thoeni again to get the best shape to be ready for the first world cup slalom in Levi Finland near the arctic circle which will be on the 11 th of November.
All the best
Kilian
